Within CRM, it is possible to create membership installment plans for constituents with memberships. When attempting to delete a membership installment plan that has no associated revenue, you may receive Error: You cannot delete this revenue record because it is associated with other transactions.
This is caused by a payment that was applied to the Membership Installment Plan having been posted and then deleted. When a posted payment is deleted it creates a reversal that also needs to be posted. To correct the error post the reversal through the 'Post to GL' process.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Log-in. 2. Go to Revenue, Transaction Search, and search for your membership installment plan. 3. Click 'Delete membership installment plan' and notice and click yes to the question 'Are you sure you want to delete this revenue?'. Notice you receive Error: You cannot delete this revenue record because it is associated with other transactions.
** Notice that this transaction has no payments applied to it whatsoever.
