Syncing from The Raiser's Edge to Sphere

If a bi-directional sync is enabled for Contact Updates, Constituent Codes from The Raiser's Edge contact record will be automatically added to the corresponding Sphere record.

To enable or disable Contact Updates from synching from The Raiser's Edge to Sphere:
  1. Navigate to Control>Administration>Connector Synch
  2. Under the Admin tab, mark to enable or unmark to disable Contact Updates under Sphere<-Connector
  3. Click Save
To view Sync data history for Constituent Codes which were synced from The Raiser's Edge to Sphere:
  1. Navigate to Control>Administration>Connector Synch
  2. Select the History tab
  3. Locate the desired sync, most easily found by date and time
  4. Hover over the desired sync and click View Detail
Syncing from Sphere to The Raiser's Edge

A default Constituent Code can be applied to all Constituent Records when a record comes into the Sphere Connector. To edit or remove this constituent code:
  1. Open The Raiser's Edge>Sphere Connector
  2. Click Options
  3. Select New Constituents
  4. Under Constituent Code applied for all new constituents, select or a remove a value from the dropdown
  5. Click OK
Any Sphere records who currently have a Constituency on their contact record, will have the Transaction Constituent Code pre-populate in the Sphere plugin for their transactions. If you do not want the Constituent Code added to their Raiser's Edge record, the Transaction Constituent Code value will need to be removed from the transaction processing window.

Note: Profile Updates will not prompt a Constituent Code to be added
