Duplicate addresses created by the Connect RE integration

After updating address information in the "ON" products the Connect RE integration appears to create duplicate address records.
Changes and updates to the address record in the "ON" products will flow through the Connect RE integration and create a new record to the linked constituent . This can appear as a duplicate record if the change includes adding additional address lines or adding a Region, for example. The Connect RE integration will  process these types of changes as a new address and will update the existing linked address in Raiser's Edge to an Alternate Address. Changes to an existing address such as "ave." to "Ave." will not create a new address record and will only update the existing linked address record.
