Online Express uses Raiser’s Edge Query to e-mail to your constituents. After uploading a Query to Online Express users may notice discrepancies between the number of results in query, number of recipients, and number of recipients updated with an appeal after selecting the Add this data to RE button in Online Express, Email Performance.
The most common discrepancy between these lists can be found when constituents in your database share the same email address. For example, if you have two spouses with their own constituent records in your Query who have the same e-mail number the e-mail list in Online Express will show the number of recipients with a valid address as: 2. When you send your email Online Express can automatically de-duplicate the number of e-mails sent to the same address, because of this the number of email recipients that displays in your Online Express, Email Performance will show a total of: 1. When you click the Add this data to RE the appeal will be added to every constituent tied to that email address, the total number of updated recipients will be: 2.
