There are two recommended paths of resolution in this instance:
  1. Complete a constituent import to mass opt-out these records.
  2. Create a group using the list of the bad email addresses. Set this group as a suppression group on all email sends.
If there is a business need to change the Email Status itself to Bad (Hard Bounce), Contact Support and provide this article number to escalate this request to our Research Delivery Operations (RDO) team for consideration. Please attach a file with a CSV containing the Constituent IDs and effected email addresses.

As an added step, we encourage you to aim to suppress those records at their source so they are not re-introduced in the future.
