When updating IGAM forms in GIFTS Online Form Design Wizard, custom fields are marked as read-only and cannot be changed.
This issue was caused as a result of the upgrade to GIFTS Online 6.0. Microedge recently released an update to resolve this issue. However, in order for the issue to be completely resolved, it may be necessary to clear your browser's cache. Following these steps will clear the cache and allow you to update your IGAM forms.
In Internet Explorer: 1. Tools menu > Delete browsing history... (if you don't see the menu bar, press Alt to have it show up). OR Press Ctrl+Shift+Del 2. Ensure "Temporary Internet files" and "Cookies" are checked, and Uncheck "Preserve Favorites website data" if GIFTS Online is a favorite/bookmark 3. Delete > Yes 4. Restart Internet Explorer and try again
In Firefox: 1. Firefox Menu > History > Clear Recent History... OR Ctrl+Shift+Del 2. "Time range to clear:" = Everything 3. Ensure "Cookies," "Cache," and "Active Logins" are checked 4. Click "Clear Now" button 5. Restart Firefox and try again
