A solicit code that exists on a non-activated marketing effort will be removed when that same solicit code is added to another non-activated marketing effort

Solicit codes can be added to a marketing effort in order to exclude constituents with those codes from the effort.  They are added on the Exclusions tab of the effort.  When adding a solicit code exclusion to a marketing effort that also exists on another marketing effort, it is removed from the other effort upon adding to the current effort.
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to an existing not activated marketing effort, or create one
  2. Go to the Exclusions tab
  3. Click Edit
  4. Add any solicit code
  5. Go to another non-activated marketing effort – can be a different template, it doesn’t matter
  6. Go to the Exclusions tab
  7. Click Edit
  8. Add the same solicit code as previously added on first marketing effort
  9. Go back to first marketing effort
  10. Observe the solicit code is now missing from this one
