HTML Links in CRM Marketing effort are not generating trackable links or tracking click-throughs

When creating a Direct Marketing Effort and/or Event Invitation email in CRM with HTML Source code used to create the Message content, that includes HTML Hyperlinks, the trackable links are not generated when sending the communication and/or click-throughs are not tracked.
Download and install the latest service pack, which contains all fixes from previous service packs. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the service pack. 

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to Events and open an existing Events
2. Go to the Invitations tab
3. Click Add
4. Enter Required information on General tab
5. On Processing Options tab mark radio button for Send through email only
6. Click Search icon for Email Package
7. Click Add
8. Enter all required information, click Search icon for Message
9. Click Add, select Add direct marketing email
10. Select an export definition (or create a new one for testing purposes with Add button), click Continue
11. Enter required information for email creation, copy/paste Source code into the WYSIWYG with the HTML button, click Update
12. Update the Email Preferences and Privacy Policy links, Click Save
13. Click Save and fill out addition criteria as needed
14. Click Save
15. Click on the Invitation name
16. Enter the Invitees to send the communication to
17. Click "Send [Invitation Name] to [Event Name] Invitees", click Start
18. Once received, note that in some instances the links in the email will not be generated as trackable links
