General Ledger Pre Post report is double spaced

Users may notice that the General Ledger Pre Post report previews and prints with double spaced formatting. This may occur when generating the Detail or Summary version of the report.
We have evaluated this issue as a potential defect and we have determined it will not be addressed in the software in its current state.  In this case, the risks and challenges outweigh the potential benefit of resolving this issue.

We wish we could address each and every issue that we come across, but there are occasions when addressing certain issues would add risk to causing a bigger problem or would put other prioritized initiatives at risk. 

We strive to select the most impactful changes and issues to address with each release to accelerate the rate at which we deliver new features while sustaining the highest level of quality for our customers.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Log into The Raiser's Edge
2. Select Admin > Post to General Ledger
3. Select "Run the General Ledger pre-posting report" button
4. Select "Detail" or "Summary"from Post Transactions in drop down menu
5. Select appropriate Gift filters on the Gifts tab
6. Select "Preview pre-posting report" on the Format tab
7. Select "Portrait" or Landscape" from Display report in drop down menu
8. Click "Pre-Post Report" button
9. Report preview is double spaced
