Advocacy Target Service - Web Service failure on Testconfig

When viewing your testconfig.aspx page for Blackbaud Internet Solutions, you may notice a failure for the Advocacy Target Service for the Web Service Ping.

When attempting to access the URL:, you may receive an error for Proxy server isn't responding.

The system goes through updates with new data being uploaded/applied in an automated fashion for the Advocacy Service. This is normal for this service to occasionally experience failures during this maintenance and/or update, but should not be a long process.
If you see this failure on your testconfig page that lasts longer than 48 hours, we recommend contacting support referencing this Article.

Additionally, this process typically completes within a few hours, if not sooner, but there may be occasions where the time is extended due to the amount of data and changes required.
