Note: As of July 9, 2018, Blackbaud’s School Management solutions (which include Core, onBoard, onCampus, onMessage, and onRecord) are utilizing a new top level navigation. This primarily affects users performing administrative tasks—constituent navigation for most parents, students, faculty, and alumni will remain the same. We appreciate your patience as we work to update our documentation. If you are seeing this message, the content of this solution is still being vetted for possible updates. Please refer to this mapping document if you need assistance finding a task in the new navigation.
When specifying a date & time in the software, I don't get the normal time selector drop down, instead I get an box with dashes and up and down arrows. Why?
When recording time & date for an event, we look at whether a device is Touch-screen or not to determine which Time Picker to show. This is to allow Tablets, Smartphones and Computers that have touchscreens to use their built-in input methods to handle inputting time to make the process easier than selecting from the time drop-down, which is designed for keyboard & mouse input.
If you are using a computer with a Mouse and Keyboard, but also has a touchscreen, the result is the time picker being displayed as the standard HTML5 time picker, which looks like this:
You will still be able to input time on this and have it record and save as normal.
