Error: Page not found. The requested URL was not found on this server when accessing the constituent help file

When accessing the help file from constituent records, this message may appear. "Error: Page not found. The requested URL was not found on this server"
The default HelpKey for this page, if you are not using Legacy Help Files (see KB 74331), is CRMConstDataEntryHomePg.html. To verify which HelpKey is set :
1) Open a Constituent Record.
2) As an Admin, enable DesignMode.
3) Click on "Properties" at the top of the page.
4) On the "Edit Page Section" window that appeared, note the value for "HelpKey" in the Appearance section.
5) If the value is not CRMConstDataEntryHomePg.html, your organization may be using custom help files. At this point you may change it to CRMConstDataEntryHomePg.html for testing purposes or, on the BBECRM Application Server, navigate to the BBECRM Installation directory then \bbappfx\vroot\Help\BB_4.0\HelpFiles\BBEC.zip and verify if the help file name (noted in step 4) exists.
 

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Open up a constituent record
  2. Select Help
