Try each of the following steps in order until the error is resolved:
  1. Grant the Windows user local administrator rights to the workstation, or log in and run the installer with a Windows user that already has local administrator rights.
  2. If you used the Windows Installer Package (The Raisers Edge.MSI or The Financial Edge.MSI), then uninstall The Raiser's Edge or uninstall The Financial Edge\Education Edge and re-install by running Setup.exe instead.
  3. Verify the workstation meets the minimum system requirements  for your product.
  4. Grant the appropriate Windows account(s) Read and Execute permissions to the Deploy folder and its contents.
  5. If installing from a network drive, it may be necessary to map a network drive to the Deploy folder on the server.
  6. Reboot the computer.
