You can find out this information by running a Transaction Details report and configuring it to show declined transactions and the Error Codes or other information you may need to further review these declines. The following additional steps will help you configure the Transaction Details report to review and address the Error Codes for the declines:
  1. When selecting the Report Columns, select Error Code under the Valued Transaction section
  2. You may want to select other columns under the Biographical Information section
    • First Name
    • Last Name
  3. You may want to select other columns under the Valued Transaction section to include additional relevant information. Examples include,
  • Billing Address information (for Address Verification failures error codes)
  • Client IP (for IP block or blacklisting error codes)
  • Transaction Date
  • Merchant Account ID (if you have multiple merchant accounts)
  1. When Configuring Filters, click Edit next to Transaction Purpose is any of the following
    1. Mark Declined
    2. Click Save this filter
