The Pre-Sale Period For My Event Stopped Working On The Day Of My On Sale Period

 A previously working pre-sales option stopped working on the day that the general sale began.  Either stopping three hours earlier or three hours after it was set to end. This may stop members from being able to buy tickets during this time.  This may happen when database is set to Pacific time. 
This issue has been resolved. If you experience this error, please chat with support to provide the exact steps that were taken.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to event Tab > click add> click Scheduled program
  2. Name the program and set Price types. Check the button to requires Registration Click save
  3. Go to the on Sale Tab> click on the green expand button next to online sales under sales method> click edit
  4. Change on sales Period to a specific day.  Select today’s day, for time select a time three hours from the current time.
  5. Check the box that will Allow member to buy tickets in advance. Choice a Membership program and level.
  6. For Pre-sales period begins select specific date> Choice past date and time. Click Save.
  7. Go to the event list Tab on the program and add a new event. Select a future day and time, and select a location. Click save.
  8. Notice that the tickets available for pre-sale is zero.  
  9. Navigate to the Web Tab of Altru> click Manage registration forms
  10. Find your program, click expand and if it is not approved for Web Approve it, by selecting this option.
  11. Click the URL and sign into the site with a registration that has your membership required for your program.
  12. Notice that even though the members only pre-sale does not end for three hours, and tickets are available, you cannot buy tickets. 
  13. Once the on sale period begins tickets sold as normal.
