After creating a new Smart Aid Budget, you will need to "map," or link, the budget to a preexisting discount in your school's Smart Tuition account in order to use "Send to Smart." If you do not wish to send the award amounts to Smart Tuition, feel free to skip this step as it is optional.
Steps to Map Budget: 1. Hover your mouse-cursor over the "Budgets" link in the gray Navigation Banner, and click "Budget Mapping." 2. In the "Mapping" Grid, you will see each of your current Smart Aid Budgets listed on the left, and a a drop-list to select the corresponding Smart Tuition Discount on the right. Using the drop-lists, map each of your Smart Aid Budgets to your Smart Tuition Discounts. 3. Once finished, scroll to the bottom of the web page and click the green, "Save" button.
Important Note: Multiple budgets cannot be mapped to a single Smart Tuition Discount.
